Further to Mr. Bustard's letter dated 11th June, I now write in reply to the query raised in your letter which was received on the 10th June.

Your father had a policy for £15,000 under the Husband and Wife Reform Act. The £15,000 is not aggregated with your father's Estate for Estate Duty purposes and is payable to your mother. I can confirm that your mother received the £15,000. I would be grateful if your would telephone me if you are not clear in your own mind regarding the policy.
